Terms of Service
Last updated: June 27, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SpeechTurbo ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service or purchase Turbo Credits.
1.1 Service Provider & Governing Law
This Service is operated by Speech Turbo (Guanshan Avenue, Optics Valley Software Park, Hongshan District, Wuhan, 430073, China). These Terms of Service and any disputes arising out of or related to it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
1.2 Merchant of Record (Paddle)
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment card data is collected and processed by Paddle in accordance with PCI DSS requirements. SpeechTurbo does not store full payment card numbers on its servers.
2. Usage & Accounts
You may use the Service as a registered user or via a limited guest session. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree not to upload illegal, defamatory, or harmful content. You may only upload or import media that you own, have licensed, or are otherwise legally authorized to process for transcription. When importing from third-party platforms (including cloud storage or public URLs), you confirm that you have the necessary rights and that your use complies with those platforms' terms and applicable copyright laws. SpeechTurbo is a productivity tool for creators, podcasters, journalists, and teams — not a service for circumventing platform protections or processing unauthorized content. Free-tier usage is subject to daily and monthly upload limits displayed in your dashboard; paid usage consumes prepaid Turbo Credits as described below.
3. Turbo Credits and Billing Structure
SpeechTurbo operates on a non-subscription, prepaid token model known as "Turbo Credits." By purchasing Turbo Credits, you acknowledge and agree to the following billing framework:
- Asset Nature: Turbo Credits are single-use digital consumables. They are delivered instantly to your account balance upon successful payment processed by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. No recurring subscription or auto-renewal applies.
- Pricing: Credit packs are sold at fixed USD prices displayed on our Pricing page (e.g. $9.99 / $19.99 / $39.99) with the credit amounts and validity period stated at checkout.
- Deduction Matrix — Flash Mode: Consumes 10 Turbo Credits per minute of processed audio/video (billed per started minute).
- Deduction Matrix — Premium Mode: Consumes 20 Turbo Credits per minute of processed audio/video. Premium Mode fully includes Speaker Diarization and AI Denoising at no additional layered cost.
- Expiration Threshold: All purchased Turbo Credits are valid for exactly 365 days from the date of deposit. Any unused credits remaining after 365 days automatically expire and become void without compensation.
- User Ownership: You retain 100% intellectual property and copyright ownership of all media files uploaded and the resulting text transcripts generated by the platform.
4. Intellectual Property & Platform Rights
- User Content: You retain full copyright and ownership of all uploaded files and transcribed output. SpeechTurbo claims no rights over your content.
- Service IP: SpeechTurbo owns all rights in the website, code, logos, and branding. You may not copy or reuse our intellectual property without written permission.
5. Accuracy & Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." While we use state-of-the-art ASR models, we do not guarantee 100% transcription accuracy or uninterrupted availability. Review output before relying on it for critical decisions.
6. Refunds
Refunds are governed exclusively by our Refund Policy at /refund. In summary: unused credit purchases may be refunded within 7 days; once any credits from an order are consumed for transcription, the entire order becomes non-refundable.
